Sansuy is a Brazilian public company founded in 1966 by Japanese Immigrants and is the Latin-American leader in the manufacturing of PVC flexible laminates (film) used in the following segments: visual communication, automotive, basic sanitation, agribusiness, transportation, civil construction, among others.
The company has three industrial plants (two of them in the State of Sao Paulo and the other in Bahia) with total production of 35,000 ton/year and 1700 collaborators. Its plants were awarded the ISO 9001 certification (Embu and Taboão) and ISO 9002 (Camaçari).
The biggest acknowledgement of its quality system was being awarded with the QS 9000 certification/ISO 9001, a Norm of the Quality System required for the companies participating in the automotive sector's productive chain. Although the procedures are applied mainly in this sector, Sansuy decided to include the QS certification process in the other departments of its plant in Sao Paulo, so that all segments attended by the company were beneficiated.
Sansuy offers flexible, semirigid calendared thermoplastic laminates and also compact, expanded, printed thermoplastic laminates, with or without textile reinforcement of high-tenacity polyester fabrics. It also offers other textile substrates. Furthermore, the company is responsible for the fabrication of finished and semi-finished products for industrial applications through thermowelding processes.
Sansuy's manufacturing process uses Japanese Technology Machineries from Ishikajima Arima Heavy Industries. |

AgCert™ works with USDA's National Soil Tilth Laboratory (NSTL). The CRADA was established in 2002. AgCert™ is currently negotiating a CRADA with a second U.S. government agency. |
United States Department of Agriculture GRACEnet |
 |
GRACEnet (Greenhouse Gas Reduction through Agricultural Carbon Enhancement network) is a new multi-location USDA-ARS research program.
Its purpose is to identify and further develop agricultural practices that will enhance carbon sequestration in soils, promote sustainability and provide a sound scientific basis for carbon credits and trading programs. GRACEnet also addresses the other greenhouse gases, such as nitrous oxide and methane, that may be emitted by agricultural practices in order to evaluate the net global warming potential of the management practices under study. AgCert™ and GRACEnet scientists collaborate closely on research regarding greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sequestration in agriculture. |
