Quality Manager

Reports to - Director of Quality

AgCert Services USA, a leading project developer in the Carbon market, is seeking to hire a quality manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and directs Quality Management System
  • Coordinate integration of QMS standards and procedures within organization
  • Oversees an international contingent of Quality personnel to develop, establish and enforce quality standards
  • Cooperates with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals
  • Plans and maintains audit system to ensure projects are consistent with established standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manages QMS functions such as Corrective/Preventive Actions, Document Control and Internal Audit
  • Uses statistical analysis and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth project flow from inception to verification
  • Provides guidance and establishes staff training requirements to implement continual quality improvement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control function, preferably supervisory
  • Proven ability to lead change in a regulated environments
  • Proven ability to change organizational norms and accepted thinking to improve performance
  • Highly developed and effective business acumen skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Foreign language skills beneficial - Spanish/Portuguese
  • Approximately 10-20% travel required
Educations and Training Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in science or technical discipline
  • Professional certifications, i.e. ASQ, are a plus
